Team Guernsey announced for the V Commonwealth Youth Games- Samoa 2015

The Guernsey Commonwealth Games Association has announce the names of the four athletes selected to represent Guernsey at this elite sport event.

Courtney Butcher and Annalise Munro will compete in the swimming programme, who between them will compete in freestyle, breastroke, and backstroke events.

Jack Oldfield who attends the Sanchez Tennis Academy in Spain will compete in the singles tennis event, and will team up with his brother, Brent Oldfield for the doubles tennis event.

Two Sport Officials will accompany the team, Sara Parfit for swimming and Patrick Ogier for tennis.  Sara attended as Swimming Official and Patrick attended as a tennis athlete at  at the Delhi 2010 Games.

Leading the Team as Chef de Mission is David Harry who provides a wealth of experience at both senior and youth Commonwealth Games to support the team at a multi cultural and multi sport event.

The Association is sponsored by Cazenove Capital Management, Guernsey Gas, the Garenne Group, Pricewaterhousecoopers, Ronez and Specsavers, who support the athletes selected to represent Guernsey at the Commonwealth Games.
