1st July 2016

Kerri, Ollie and Steph from the PE in Schools team recently teamed up with Guernsey Cricket to host the first Girls Cricket Festival. The festival was open to all Year 3 and 4 girls, providing girls with a fun and free opportunity to play Cricket, which they have previously been introduced to this term in PE lessons.

19 girls from 7 different primary schools joined the festival to give cricket a go. The festival began with warm up activities to practice throwing and catching before moving into mini games.

Isobelle Mort and Evie Linane received the highest scores of the day while Danielle Edwards and Kerys Maindonald were awarded Players of the Day awards.
