11th October 2017

The Guernsey Sports Commission and Marks and Spencer (Guernsey) are encouraging young people to stay active this October half term by taking part in their On Your Marks Programme, which is due to run between Monday 23rd - Friday 27th October.

The Marks & Spencer (Guernsey) sponsored programme provides fun and safe activities for children and young people between the ages of 2 and 16 from only £1 per session.

Ollie Dowding, from the Sports Commission said “We are delighted that M & S are able to support the On Your Marks Programme. The cost of accessing clubs and activities can be a barrier to participation but thanks to their generous support, we can ensure that our activities are for everyone.”
Activities on offer include toddler free play, fun and fit club and multisports for pre school and primary school aged children. While surfing, racket sports and swimming games will be enjoyed by children and young people in year 6 and secondary school.

Forms are now available to be collected from the Sports Commission offices and at Beau Sejour.
