The Guernsey Table Tennis Association (GTTA) formed in 1922 as the official governing body for table tennis in Guernsey. The premises has 20 tables and is based at the Hougue du Pommier. The GTTA is a non profit making association and is funded by player subscriptions, fundraising events, sponsors, donations and grants. The management committee and sub-committees mainly consist of volunteers.
Guernsey has approximately 150 adult league table tennis players and approximately 100 juniors receiving regular coaching and playing in the junior or senior league. There are four clubs (Lions, Ravenscroft Panthers, St Pauls and Whistlers). Guernsey players compete in various competitions off island including the British leagues, Island Games and British Schools events.
