Sporting Achievement Awards 2023 - Nominations Open

The Guernsey Sports Commission is looking forward to hosting the 19^th annual Sporting Achievement Awards in January.

Nominations are now open.

‘It’s been a bumper year of sporting action so there should be plenty of performances and achievements to celebrate,’ said Graham Chester, the Commission’s Operations Director.

‘Not only did we host a fantastic home NatWest International Island Games, lots of our sportsmen and women have been competing and performing all over the world to much acclaim.

‘This is a fantastic opportunity for all sports to put forward their top teams, coaches or individuals for one of the awards and I would encourage all local sporting organisations to get nominating,’ said Graham.

‘We want the evening to be a real celebration of the breadth and depth of sport here in Guernsey and share some of the stories around the top performances of the last 12 months.’

There are 12 different awards and nominations must be received by Monday 11^th December. The criteria for each award are available on the Commission’s website where there is a simple online nomination form to complete.

Awards night is Thursday 11^th January 2024 in the theatre at Beau Sejour starting at 6.30pm.

Guest speakers and presenters will be announced nearer the time.
