U19 netballers seeking support

Guernsey Panthers Under 19 netball squad will be competing in the U19 South Division 2 this season.

They will have 16 games between now and April – eight of them being played at home.

Netball is one of the island’s most popular sports for women and girls and the Panthers U19 squad are keen to encourage as much support as possible both on and off the court.

Taking part in this regional league means lots of travelling for the girls and this comes at a cost – to try to help attract sponsorship the girls have put together their own promotional video explaining what they get out of playing netball and why they are desperate for some financial support to help them achieve their aims.

The girls would welcome the opportunity to talk about their promotional campaign, what they get out of playing netball and why they believe women’s sport deserves to attract the same level of sponsorship as men’s sport.

Everyone is welcome to come along to their first big home game against Complete Netball Academy to be hosted in the main sports hall at Beau Sejour on Sunday 17^th September. Game starts at 12.30pm.
