UKCC Multi Skills L2 Autumn 2025

The Guernsey Sports Commission is looking to run a UKCC Multi Skills Level 2 qualification this autumn and is seeking expressions of interest from local coaches prior to scheduling dates and times.

Delivered by 1^st4Sport accredited GSC staff, the Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Multi-Skills Development in Sport qualifies learners to work as independent multi-skills development coaches in sport and physical activity. Through the planning, delivery and review of a series of linked and progressive coaching sessions, they will gain an indispensable understanding of, and the skills to apply, the principles of fundamental movement skills and fundamental sports skills to their sessions. These are essential to supporting people to develop sustainable active habits and achieve their goals.

If your learners are ready to take on responsibility for the ongoing development of participants of various ages in this area, or if they work (or want to work) in Physical Education and School Sport across the curriculum, this qualification is a great next step.

It provides the knowledge and skills to coach multi-skills and how to enhance sessions with the principles of fundamental movement skills and fundamental sports skills. This is not a sport-specific coaching qualification. This product is mapped against the Coach (Occupation) Professional Standards as a CIMSPA Professional Standards Endorsed Qualification.

The cost of the course is £230 per person for those working within member sports and £270 for those not involved with a member sport.

The course is made up of 34 guided learning hours that we will look to work around the availability of those interested. This typically involves 4 whole days of delivery over a period of weeks (weekends), 3 hour evening sessions spread over 9-10 weeks or a combination of both.
