We hosted a special seminar in June exploring how walking sports can help improve people's mental and physical wellbeing.
Guest speaker, Stuart Langworthy, England Manager for over 60s Walking Football, led a fun and informative evening discussing the benefits to health and sharing some of his experiences around walking football, particularly for those with long term health conditions such as Parkinson's.
We were also joined by GP Dr Nick Dunn and physiotherapist Kay Pires who also highlighted how being more active and playing sport later in life can bring benefits to the whole community.
Here's a video round up of the event.
