Exciting afternoon at the Squash 2 Festival

On Thursday 4th April we welcomed 18 Year 4 children from Castel, Hautes Capelles, La Houguette, La Mare De Carteret, Melrose and Vauvert schools to Beau Sejour to take part in the second Squash Festival of the year with Guernsey Squash.

The children were introduced to the game with Head Coach Martin Watts and had the chance to attend two training sessions prior to the Festival in order to pick up the skills and tactics required to play. Certificates were presented to all participants, with medals awarded to the winning team.

A fantastic Festival with great enthusiasm and enjoyment. A big thank you to Martin for coaching the training and his volunteers for helping put on a great Festival afternoon.
