Our Charity

The Guernsey Sports Commission is a charitable organisation set up in 2004 that aims to promote physical activity and sport in Guernsey, Channel Islands.

Our role is to lead, represent and be a voice for sport in Guernsey.

We run a number of programmes throughout the year that provide participants of all ages the chance to take part in sport & physical activity. We anticipate that these opportunities will inspire participants to enjoy sport and the values attributed to it.

The Guernsey Sports Commission provides a range of support mechanisms open to sports clubs, coaches and anyone looking to continue their professional development. Funding local sports events & offering sports workshops are just some of the ways in which we support the islands sporting community.

We are also looking for support in the form of volunteers giving up their time to support the delivery of a number of our programmes. Being a charity, we also require the continued support from the public & corporate sponsors to ensure our future and allow us to continue to engage, develop & inspire the islands sporting stars.

We are proud to support the Association of Guernsey Charities' #withoutus campaign.
