In Guernsey the darts year is split into two parts, resulting in separate leagues that run in the Winter (roughly Sept to May) and the Summer (roughly June to August). Most leagues that run in the winter are mixed (for both men and women) or have separate divisions for each, with the exception of the Maple Leaf which is for women only.
